A Rockford Orchard Helped a Couple with Their Engagement
A couple picking apples on Sunday wound up picking more than apples. Thanks to this Rockford orchard, they helped them with their engagement.
Kyle Vowel told WIFR, that he knew his girlfriend of 2 and 1/2 years, Sierra, wanted to go apple picking and he knew he wanted to propose to her.
The question was 'how would he make it all happen for their special moment?'
He "checked with several different orchards [around the area and found that] Curran’s was the most personable and accommodating for this special day."
With the help of the staff at Curran's he and Sierra set about their special apple picking day. Unbeknownst to Sierra a tree was ready and waiting for her with a sign that said "Forever Starts Here" with some tulle wrapped around a box.
When she saw it she just said “Oh someone’s getting engaged today, that's cool for them." That's when Kyle stopped her and knelt on one knee and proposed. Sierra was shocked but happy, and of course said "Yes".
Now that is really cool. Good job Kyle with planning a very special proposal that will be forever remembered. Also, to Curran's Orchard, big kudos to you. That was a really great thing you did for Kyle and Sierra..
In fact, I believe they made a lasting friendship with the couple. As "Kyle and Sierra [both] say returning to Curran’s is definitely something they will do possibly yearly.'
Now doesn't that make you say "Awww" and give you the warm fuzzies.
