This guy is just looking for a date and you ain't it.

TheCenterSquare - The Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Conservation Police Officers are reminding people to leave the black bear traveling through western Illinois alone after more than 300 people gathered to watch, follow and harass the animal as it traveled through northwest Henderson County over Father’s Day weekend.

According to the IDNR, the bear is most likely from Wisconsin and is just looking for a mate. He made it all the way down to Iowa before turning around last weekend to head back home. He was last spotted around the Quad Cities heading northeast, AKA towards us.

If everyone leaves him alone he'll eventually make it back to Wisconsin where black bears actually live. If people interfere, even thinking they'll help the bear, could result in a conflict between the bear and people, which would end poorly for the bear.

Stay away please.
