5 Tips For Surviving Country Thunder 2018 Like A Pro
Country Thunder can be one of the most fun times of your life, but if you're camping you've got to know how to plan. Here are five important tips for making it through Wisconsin's biggest party.
FOOD: Have plenty of food and drinks. If you think you have enough, get more.
- Expert Tip: Do your grocery shopping in Lake Geneva after you set up camp. Saves room in the vehicle and you don’t have to worry about keeping food cold.
WEATHER: Be prepared for everything.
Expert Tip: Be prepared for rain and storms. Bring sunscreen and shoes or boots you don't care about. DON'T wear flipflops, they might end up in the flipflop graveyard (which is a real thing).
BATHROOM/SHOWER: Rent/Cash
Expert Tip: Rent your own port-o-potty if there's still time. Also, bring cash for the showers ($7/shower). They're located near the Front Gate, inside Preferred, and inside General 1.
DON'T PASS OUT: Seriously, this should be number.
Expert Tip: Bring plenty to keep you hydrated, Gatorade, Pedialyte, or good old-fashioned water.
BRING CASH FOR RIDES: Bring ones and fives.
Expert Tip: If you have to walk a long distance in camping areas, flag down a golf cart that might resemble a taxi. They will drive you to the anywhere in the camping areas for a few bucks.
