The 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs will receive their championship rings this Wednesday night, and even though the design of them is being kept tightly under wraps, we do know they will feature a significant amount of diamonds.

108 diamonds to be exact. One for each year of the Cubs World Series title drought. OMG, that's gonna be one shiny ring!

According to NBC Chicago the rings " were designed in a collaborative project by numerous executives and players, including Jon Lester, Anthony Rizzo, Theo Epstein, and Cubs owner Tom Ricketts."

No doubt any ring with that many diamonds will be ultra-blingy, not to mention heavy, but the real question is, will the players ever actually wear it?
