Emily Beach was 16 when she made a pact with her then teacher, Tim Connors.

The agreement was, when the Cubs won the World Series, the two of them would get Cubs tattoos.

We all know what happened last November, after 108 years, the Cubs won the trophy and the title.

According to the Journal Standard, Emily sent Tim a text message ten minutes after the Cubs won saying, "Congrats. When are we going to get our tattoos?"

And they got them! Last Saturday, April 1 in Freeport.

Tim got a Cubs C on his calf, while Emily got "eamus Catuli" on her side.
