Perfect Pinterest Pick of the Week; DIY Baby Gifts
Welcome to September, my friends! I recently read that September is the month when the most babies are born, and since Carrie Underwood just announced that she is pregnant, I have baby gifts on the brain. So, today I thought I would share some DIY baby gift ideas that I have made in the past that turn out super cute!
I am also sharing these pins because Steve Summers told me that it is too early to post ideas for Fall, and that is all I have been filling my Pinterest feed with these days. I love Fall, but we will get to that in the weeks to come.
Coming up with creative ways to give a "normal" gift is my favorite thing to do for a baby shower. It's such an exciting time, and babies are so darn cute, so I think the gift should match the occasion. Exciting and cute.
I don't have access to photos of all the DIY baby gifts I have made at the moment, but I do have pics of a couple diaper cakes I have made. This first one was for my nephew Kamden, who at the time we called "Baby Z." I thought it was only fitting to have a zebra themed shower for Baby Boy Zimmerman...
This diaper cake was made for the shower I threw for Q98.5's Rob Brennan and Michelle Kelly. Yes, that is a tutu on the top layer of the cake. Every little girl needs a tutu in my opinion.
