New Exhibit at Nicholas Conservatory Celebrates the Beauty of Recycling

The gardens at the Nicholas Conservatory in Rockford are now littered with trash, and it's a beautiful sight! The "R4 Sculpture Show" opened to the public this past Saturday at Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens. "R4" stands for recycled, reclaimed, reused, recrafted, and all  featured pieces were made from recycled and reclaimed materials, some of which by local artists.

Check out the beauty of the Nicholas Conservatory, and this awesome R4 exhibit anytime Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $6 for residents ($8 for non-residents), $1 for kids 3-4 years old ($2 for non-residents), and children 2 and under are free.
