I'm going to try very hard not to go off on a rant here, but I am beyond frustrated with this pandemic, and I am well past over it.

My family has tried to do everything "right" during the pandemic . We wear facemasks in public. We avoid large groups. We stay home, and we order curbside pickup for almost everything. We still got the virus, and we still don't know how/where we got it.

The world we are living in right now is a ripe, hot mess with no real answers on how to "fix" it. Here we are, about 8 months into it, and no solid end in sight. We are ALL frustrated. We are sick and tired of hearing about it, but that will not make COVID-19 go away. What will? A vaccine? Who the Hell knows, but Illinois is getting slapped with more restrictions on Friday, and all I can think about is how AWFUL trying to get groceries will be in the next week.

Thanksgiving is one week away, and starting Friday grocery stores will be restricted to 50% capacity.

Think about the grocery store one year ago; it was an absolute mess of people before Thanksgiving, right? I can only imagine it will be10 times worse this year. Sure, there is the curbside pickup/delivery options, but I'm not feeling confident about actually getting things I need.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming grocery stores or even Governor Pritzker for the Hell we are about to enter once again, but I am quickly approaching my wits end. I saw a bunch of people complaining on social media yesterday about not being able to find toilet paper again, and I'm going to say it right now, I NO LONGER HAVE THE PATIENCE TO DEAL WITH THAT MESS.

I promised I wouldn't I wouldn't rant, and I just broke that promise, so I will end it with this; do we honestly think these new mitigation efforts will work, or is it just going to hurt businesses and people that are barely surviving even further?
