Six Flags announced today that when the park re-opens, guests will have to reserve a date and TIME to enter the park.

The park will already be at reduced capacity and this rule is in place to avoid large crowds at the gate. Once in the park, you will NOT be forced to leave before the park closes.

There is no expected date for Great America to open this year. Considering the fact that according to Gov. Pritzker's "reopen Illinois" plan, Gurnee is in the same region as Chicago, meaning that it could be awhile.
