A man who lives in Massachusetts named Arthur McCann wanted to show his love for the USA in a BIG way, so he did.

McCann told WBZ-TV in Boston that he did it because " I just love America and the freedom and opportunities it gives and I love to be creative”.

Just look how awesome his yard looks...

Response to McCann's flag in Norwood, Massachusetts may be amazing, but the reaction when WGN-TV shared the story on Facebook wasn't, and some of the responses left me a bit perplexed.

Particularly, this one...

Now, I will admit I don't know it all when it comes to official flag etiquette, but I thought all the rules pertained to actual flags, not artistic renditions of them?

Apparently I'm not alone in thinking that, because people were quick to put Marc Svendsen in his place for making the above comment.

Some responded with witty comebacks...

And some responded with proof...

So, what do you think? Is Mr. McCann's yard disrespectful to the Flag, or is an awesome and artistic example of patriotism?
