When the news first broke that 22-year-old Brittney Prehn of Woodstock, Illinois was struck by lightning last Friday at Country Thunder, I was shocked, and automatically started thinking about what we could do to help.

Yes, it's a blessing that Brittney survived this fluke accident, but she is still being cared for in the ICU at Loyola University's Burn Center. Brittney has a long road to recovery, and the degree of care she is receiving comes with a VERY LARGE price tag.

Brittney's family has already established a GoFundMe account to help with her mounting medical costs, but the account is still far from reaching its $250,000 goal.

This is why BBQ King Smokehouse in Woodstock decided to step up to the plate and help their community member in need this Saturday.

Whatever your plans are for this Saturday, change them. Whatever you have listed on your weekly menu plan for this Saturday, get rid of it. We need to all go to BBQ King Smokehouse in Woodstock for our meals this Saturday. We also need to TIP HEAVILY while we're there, so the restaurant has a big matching check to write.

Thanks for being so awesome BBQ King Smokehouse!
