A Wisconsin funeral home has found a unique way to help others plan for their end of life arrangements, by combining death with pizza.

I can't even.

ABC7 shared a report that a funeral home in Brookfield, WI is throwing pizza parties to help you plan for your funeral.

What? No way... Oh, Yes way they are.

"Krause Funeral Homes [of Brookfield, WI] is offering a free pizza party to families in exchange for little time to learn about the benefits of end-of-life planning."

Mark Krasue, President of Krause Funeral Homes, says that by pre-planning your end-of-life arrangements "is one way to lock in today's funeral prices."  He said that if the trend continues the costs of funerals "which ranges between $6,000 to $12,000 today, {is expected to or] will double in the next 15 years." Ouch! That's a lot of money.

He also adds that by doing the planning now, you can be sure that you will have everything the you want the way you want it when your time comes.

Also, by throwing in a pizza party while you plan it's a way to take the scary, morbid feeling out of funerals and death.

Wow! OK.

I mean I get what they're doing. It makes sense to make it a bit littler as you plan for a very heavy subject that many of us don't like to think about.

However, it's really weird. I feel kind of grossed out about it at the same time.

What do you think?
