Winnebago County Animal Services Hosting Meet Your Valentine Event

Having a hard time meeting that special person with two legs? Maybe you should try meeting a four legged companion. Winnebago County Animal Services (WCAS) is hosting a “Meet Your Valentine” event now through Saturday February 13 that will change your life.

Our friends at the Winnebago County Animal Services is celebrating Valentine's Day in a "furry way". Running now thru February 13, all adult cats and dogs will be $20.  Kittens and puppies under 1 year are excluded.  The fee includes the rabies shot and tag, microchip, spay/neuter, and other preventative vaccinations.

According to Winnebago County Animal Shelter Adoption Coordinator Donna Apgar, “Animals provide unconditional love, heartwarming experiences, and countless memories. We are hoping many of our animals can find loving homes for Valentine’s Day, so come out to the shelter to meet your valentine!”.

You must have a valid photo ID and an approved adoption application by WCAS. The fee includes the rabies shot and tag, microchip, spay/neuter, and other preventative vaccinations.
