WI Man Accused of Selling Drugs Mixed Dead Mom’s Cremated Remains

26-year-old Austin Schroeder, of Menomonee Falls, told police he cut the drugs using his dead mother’s cremated remains.

Police got a tip that Austin and his girlfriend we're selling drugs out of his apartment. Twice last week, an informant visited the residence. The informant was able to buy marijuana. Police returned to search the apartment and  found 70 grams of marijuana, a small amount of MDMA, bongs and a drug scale.

The complaint reads that there was a large amount of powder and vegetable material found in the apartment. Austin said he mixed and ingested these substances for a variety of reasons, according to wgntv.com. Some of that powder was made up of ashes from his mom who was cremated just over a year ago.
