I Now Know Why Rockford Is Obsessed With Cheese Fries
Yesterday, I wondered how people could lose their minds over cheese fries. Then, I went to Beef-A-Roo and had their cheddar fries. Yup, they're called cheddar fries and not cheese fries. How could I have been so clueless?
I had the quarter pound cheeseburger and it was ok at best. I've been told when I go back to try the famous roast beef, but their cheddar fries didn't disappoint. Honestly, the burger felt more like the side to my cheddar fry entree.
I am normally a ranch guy when it comes to my french fries, and maybe next time I will try a cheddar ranch combo, but why fix something that isn't broken? The only question left is whether going to get these fries was a good idea. Will no fry be able to match these in the future? Have I ruined the excitement of french fries in my diet if they are not from Beef-A-Roo?
I'm honestly terrified. The good news is that there are many locations in the Rockford area so I'll never have to find out. Fry on my friends. Just make sure they're dripping with cheddar.
