The longest ongoing festival in the entire state of Illinois kicked off today. Harvard Milk days is now in its 78th year.  The festival goes on through Sunday this weekend. The festival is open from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. it's really a great family event. This year there are so many different things to enjoy. A parade, rides, food, fireworks and even a petting zoo.

Also on the books this year is a Jr cattle show, races, antique tractor show and lots to see and shop for. Not to mention the entertainment. Saturday there is a fun walk, a 5K and even a 10K run. I will even be a special guest contestant in the cow milking competition tomorrow. So if you and the family are looking to do something fun this weekend head on to Harvard for the Milk Days Festival. You can check out all the information at Harvardmilkdays.com.
