Whether your team's colors are navy and orange, green and gold, or anything else, this story will melt your heart.

8-year-old Eli is a diehard Chicago Bears fan and flag football player through Special Olympics, which chose him for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Young Eli was chosen to be the honorary captain at Soldier Field when Chicago played the Rams. Based on the results of the game, it might be safe to say Eli was Chicago's lucky charm.

If you look closely at the beginning of the video below you'll see Eli amongst both teams, almost appearing as a little yellow dot. Don't worry, the camera will pan to the jumbotron. (Video may have questionable language.)

In an interview with mystateline.com, you can still the excitement and joy in Eli 48 hours after the awesome experience.
