Violent Crimes In Rockford Are Down This Year But thats Not All

Finally, some good news. According to WIFR, The City Of Rockford posted on their Facebook page today that Violent crimes are down this year in our area. 21% to be exact but that's not all. Robbery is down 16%, Property crime is down 15%, Aggravated Assaults are down 20 % as well. lastly, shots fired crimes are down 23% and auto Thefts are down 25%.

These statistics are compared to last years at this time and its definitely an improvement across the board. Strong police presence is always good to thwart off would be criminals and it looks like the Rockford Police Department is really doing their job. Personally, my family and I love It here. We might be near Chicago, but we're Not Chicago.
