Utah Cousins Petition to Get Married, Because They Are in Love

Because our parents are siblings, that doesn't mean we can't be in love...oh boy.

From My Stateline a Utah couple that is related, and petitioning to get married because they are in love.

The BRIDE, Angie Lee says:

"We said OK this is crazy but we're adults now, we're single now, we're just going to go for it and who cares what our family thinks".

Researchers at Columbia University, say that first cousins share 12.5 percent of their DNA. That's one issue. Secondly it's illegal in Utah, unless they are 65 years old...huh?

Here's the kicker, there are no such laws in Colorado....Guess where the happy cousins/couple went on Monday?
