Great news from the family of a missing disabled veteran that was reported missing last week.

Last week the family of DeKalb resident reported that Scott M Miller was missing since last Monday. Scott is a disabled US Navy veteran with family ties to the DeKalb and St Charles areas.

His family reported that Scotty was last seen in Geneva and his vehicle was located in a parking lot. The family set up a Facebook page so people could report tips and possible whereabouts of Scotty.

Initial reports the family received  by the Geneva Police Department indicated that  police confirmed with a local cab company that Scotty was taken in a cab to the Geneva Train Station and boarded a train from there.

Reports flowed in throughout the weekend thanks to people who shared our story  and your tips and today the family took to social media to report:

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT! Scotty Miller has been found and is now safe with his family. Communication with Scotty was established over night and he arrived back in Chicagoland safely this morning. We are so grateful and overjoyed that he is safe and we offer our heartfelt gratitude for all of your efforts in bringing him home. Thank you all so much for your help and support.

Thanks to everyone who helped!
