In my house, Halloween is a big deal. From the decorations, to the candy and costumes, my kids (and I) get really into the spirit of the holiday, and we try to hit up as many costume events as possible.

All Hallows Eve at Midway Village and Museum in Rockford is always a big hit with my kids. Fall On the Farm at Lockwood Park is too. We also like mixing in something new each year, and I just found an event I know my kids will love!

My family has been to see the Rockford Rivets play a few times at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park, and my kids think the ballpark is the absolute coolest. I can only imagine how cool they'll think it is when they see it covered with spooky cars handing out candy, people dressed in costumes, and fun activities happening throughout the concourse!
