Tony Dungy Coming To Rockford

Tony Dungy is coming to Rockford. The NBC NFL Football Sports Analyst, past NFL player, winning coach of Super Bowl XLI, author and motivational speaker will be in Rockford in February. Details here.He'll be in Rockford for MELD’s Annual Celebrity Evening – “TAILGATE WITH TONY”. The event will be Thursday, February 26, 5:30-9:00PM, at Giovanni’s Restaurant, 610 N. Bell School Road, Rockford, IL. 

The event includes a “Meet and Greet TONY” VIP reception, a signature silent and live auction, and raffle for some great items and packages including sports memorabilia, CUBS tickets and more.   Dinner is at 7pm with a program and Tony Dungy as guest speaker.  A selection of Tony Dungy’s books (autographed) will be available to purchase at event as well.

Here's the cool part. All proceeds from “TAILGATE WITH TONY” will benefit MELD (Mothers and Fathers Establishing Life’s Direction) Programs for young moms, dads and their children including our MELD Homeless Shelter, Transitional Living Program, MELD Young Moms and Dads Parent Support Groups, Education and Employment Assistance Program and Homelessness Prevention/Rapid Re-Housing Program.

Cost to get in varies. VIP Meet and Greet TONY Reception (includes dinner and program with Tony) is $100 a person or Table of 10 for $95.

Dinner and Program with Tony as guest speaker (does NOT include VIP Reception) is $75 a person or Table of 10 for $700

Student (youth) price - 18 years old and under (high school students and youth only) is $50 a person or Table of 10 for $450
