Fatal Accident in Loves Park Claims Life of 2-Year-Old Boy
As a parent, my heart is absolutely breaking for the Shreve family of Machesney Park who lost their two-year-old son when a truck rear-ended their van on Forest Hills Road Wednesday night. I get tears in my eyes just reading this...
I can only imagine the amount of pain that parents Mitchell and Rachel Shreve are feeling right now. Surviving a 3-vehicle crash that took one son's life, and left another fighting for his life, has to be unbearable, and my heart yearns to help them in any way possible.
GoFundMe Established for Shreve Family of Machesney Park
As the Shreve family tries to survive the grueling days ahead; burying one son and helping another heal, the one thing this community can do is help ease the financial worries that follow such a tragic event.
A GoFundMe has been established for the family to not only help with funeral expenses, but also the medical bills that will come during Emmitt's long road to recovery. Please consider supporting this heartbroken family.
Shreve Family, please know that although we have never met, you are in my thoughts. I pray for your hearts, for your strength in the midst of such tragedy, and for your adorable guardian angel, Roland who will always be with you.
