Today is the Last Day To Register To Vote

If you want your voice to be heard at the polls, keep in mind today is the last day to register to vote if you want to participate in the April 7th consolidated election.

Rockford voters will choose

• Alderman Ward 6
• Rockford park District Commissioner
• Board Of Education
• Community College Trustees
• Regional Board of School Trustees
• Anti-Corruption Referendum

If you cannot register to vote by Tuesday,  grace period registration will begin on Wednesday. A voter who registers to vote under the grace period law is required to register and vote in in person at the  Rockford Board of Elections office at 301 S. 6th St.

If you will be out of town on election day, you have the option of voting absentee. You can get an absentee ballot application at www.voterockford.com.
