Get your scare on this Friday at the Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum.

The older I get the more I wonder if I should do more scary things in my life. Not like jump out of an airplane but actually attend scary Halloween events.

I usually just say, I'll pass, I'm a wuss, but maybe this year things will be different.

If you're like me, perhaps you want to head to this Friday's 'Things that go BUMP in the night' at the Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum.

For $20, you get a three hour experience with local authors Terri Reid and Kathi Kresol who are all about the scary stories.

You'll get your fill of Stateline paranormal activity and the history of the haunted Tinker Swiss Cottage.

Masks are required for all Tinker Swiss Events, head to HauntedRockford.com to order you tickets.

Catch Midday Michelle on 97 ZOK from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Follow her on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
