Thousands of Jack O’ Lanterns Will Take Over One Illinois Town This October
I know what you're thinking right now, "Shannon it's only September, why are you talking about jack o' lanterns already?" I promise you there's a good reason for it, (that involves saving you some money), which I'll get to in just a bit.
First let's get to what's kicking off soon in Lake Zurich, Illinois, (which is only a little over an hour away from Rockford). It's called Jack O' Lantern World, and man, oh man, does this event look AWESOME...
What Can Your Family Expect to See at Lake Zurich's Jack O' Lantern World?
Jack O' Lantern World's website explains the experience like this;
Walk a 3/4 mile long trail through 1000’s of Jack O’Lanterns hand carved by local artisans. Experience our one of a kind whimsical celebration of art, nature & fall.
Just look at this awesome piece of art...
What makes this experience even cooler? Your visit to Jack O' Lantern World won't just be a jaunt through a forest filled with carved pumpkins, it will in fact take you through 15 different themed worlds that all sound amazing...
Lake Zurich's Jack O' Lantern World will open for tours on select days only at the beginning of October. It will be open Thursday through Sunday beginning Friday, October 1, 2021. Admission on Thursdays, (and select Wednesdays), will be $20 for adults, and $14 per child ages 3-12. Weekend admission, (Friday through Sunday) is $22 for adults and $15 per child ages 3-12.
Now, earlier I promised that I would tell you how to save money on your tickets to Jack O' Lantern World, so here it comes.
