I'm not sure how serious you are about finding Halloween fun, but I can tell you as a family that loves Halloween, this year is a bit of a struggle.

Thankfully we have our favorite local apple orchards and pumpkin patches to visit this Fall, but let's face it, the experience just isn't what we're used to. We've all got to find a way to make the best out of this crazy year, and finding creative ways to have family fun is definitely part of that.

I came across an article about a socially-distanced jack-o-lantern in Wisconsin on onlyinyourstate.com today, and I just knew my family needs to check this out!

It's called "The Hollow at Phantom Lake", and it's located just over one hour from Rockford in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. My favorite part about this attraction is that it is full of the "pretty" Halloween stuff, and none of the "scary" stuff, so my kids will love it too!

Take a social distanced stroll through The Hollow at Phantom Lake this fall. Enter a world of enchantment, filled with over 1000 hand carved illuminated Jack O'Lanterns.

This outdoor, family friendly, evening under the stars is sure to become a yearly tradition.

Due to COVID-19, the Hollow at Phantom Lake is requiring masks be worn during the hike, families will be grouped together, and all tickets, which are $15 each for anyone over the age of three, must be purchased in advance.

You ready for semi bad news now? The Hollow at Pumpkin Lake only runs for two more weekends, and tickets for this weekend (October 9,10, and 11) are completely sold out. As I write this there are still limited tickets available for the last weekend, but only for the latest start times, and I'm sure they won't last long. Better click here now to buy them while you still can!
