The Three Best Bucket List Restaurants In The 815
Bucket lists are very, very trendy. So it's no surprise that people make stops at restaurants no matter how far or remote in order to cross something off their list.
I noticed Alinea was named Illinois best bucket list restaurant according to MSN.
While Alinea is amazing, and sounds like an experience more than a meal, what about those of us who won't make it to Chicago for a bucket list style experience?
So I did some research trying to find the 815's best bucket list restaurants on Yelp.
I found three restaurants in the area that all made the cut.
1. Prairie Street Brewing Company - 200 Prairie Street, Rockford, IL
Definitely on my bucket list if i make it back. Keep doing what you do, Rockford Brewing!
2. Shamrock Pub - 1401 Chicago Avenue, Dixon IL
But we did add to our bucket list a trip to Dixon to see the sights and to go back to the Shamrock for Bloody Mary night.
3. Lodi Tap House - 309 Main Street, Maple Park IL
A must stop on your bucket list!! Beer list is incredible, 12 different tappers with great beer. I will definitely be back again!!
The findings came from Yelp searches using the words bucket and list. Simple as that. Doing so, it made me realize I need to check out Lodi Tap House and Shamrock Pub quickly, like, before I die.
