If you haven't done so already, mark May 22 on your calendar, and get ready for a whole new experience at the Rockford City Market!

I don't know about you, but ever since the weather started getting warmer I have found myself yearning to spend my Friday nights in downtown Rockford. I can't wait to buy all my favorite local goods and deliciousness, all while sipping an ice cold beer while listening to music and catching up with old friends.

By now you've probably heard that the construction process to revamp the market with an all new pavilion is underway, and it will be finished in time for the market's opening on May 22. Yay! No more worries about rain cancellations!

Also new for this year, an expansion of sorts. The Rockford City Market team will now be managing the North End farmer's market located at the corner of North Main and Auburn streets every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through the summer. You can now have double the shopping fun through the summer in Rockford!

If you are interested in becoming a vendor for either the Rockford City Market, or the North End farmer's market, there are still some spots remaining! Just click here to submit an application.

Can't wait to see you downtown this summer!
