When I had kids and the 'Elf On The Shelf' craze hit, I was all about it. Then I bought one and regretted that decision about 2 two days later.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE creating Christmas magic for my kids because, let's face it, we only have a handful of years where we can do it, but coming up with new Elf "things" each night is...tiresome. I like to think I am a creative person, but I am definitely not the mom who creates massive Elf scenes each night after my kids go to bed. I am instead the mom who moves the Elf to a different place each night, but usually forgets to do it until I'm all cozy in bed and the "oh sh@t" moment hits me.

I legit thought about making a quarantine box for our resident elf Chilly Milly to arrive in that would give me a 14 day break, but then I thought, no, that's just wrong. (Even if it is dang funny and clever.)

My point here is, if you are a parent like me, please allow me to introduce your new Santa's helper...his name is "Santa's Lazy Gnome", and the best part is, you never have to move him!!!!

Just like "Elf On The Shelf", the Lazy Gnome reports daily to Santa about your kids' behavior, (yay for harmless bribery), but he does it all remotely, kind of like we are all doing life right now in 2020.

The Lazy Gnome also has his own book to explain why he's, well, lazy, which will further help you validate his existence to your children.

Have I sold you yet on 'Santa's Lazy Gnome"? Buy him now, here. (You can thank me later for bringing him into your life. LOL!)
