I consider myself a crafty person, and I am not just talking about my ability to make things here. I'm talking about my love for crafts; buying them, making them, watching how-to videos...I love ALL of it, but I am ashamed to admit there is one major craft show in the Rockford area that I have never been to before. It's Christmas At The Farm at Meyer's Tails Up Farm in Belvidere.

What Makes 'Christmas At The Farm' So Special

Since I have been to and sold stuff at my share of craft shows in the past, I know a lot of artisans in the area, and ALL of them rave about 'Christmas At The Farm'. Not only does it sound like a great place to pick up unique Christmas gifts made by local people, but it also sounds like the perfect kind of holiday atmosphere I want to be a part of.

Let's get you the important details about Christmas At The Farm:

  • WHEN: Friday, November 5 from 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • WHERE: Meyer's Tails Up Farm at 5390 Irene Road in Belvidere, Illinois
  • WHAT: A holiday shopping event with the perfect mix of vintage goods, gift, crafts, cocktails, and food.
  • COST: Tickets are $7 at the door, and kids 12 and under are free.

A Bit Of Shopping Advice

Any craft show aficionado will tell you that you score the best, most unique items when you get there early, so you should probably plan on doing that if you really want to buy a haul. Also, rumor has it that although the Christmas At The Farm party officially kicks in on Saturday, Friday night has its own special shopping vibe you will probably want to be a part of.
