Illinois state flag

The Illinois flag has been updated before, but it's been awhile. Now, the state is asking those of us who live here to submit our ideas and designs for a potential Illinois state flag makeover.

Illinois's state flag may be getting a brand-new design after staying the same for over a century.

I'm going to come right out and say it, our state's flag for Illinois is boring. I really don't like it. However, this redesign of the state flag is well, is just plain bad.
