It's a sad fact, but scammers will stop at nothing to get their hands on our money. They prey on the elderly and our fears for our safety, they'll even pretend they are law enforcement to get access to our cash, which is exactly what happened in Beloit, WI recently.

The City of Beloit Police Department took to Facebook last week to warn residents in Northern Illinois and Wisconsin about the latest scam from crooks that obviously have some major cojones to impersonate police...

I'm glad to see the Beloit Police Department still has a sense of humor in the face of a threat such as this, but seriously, if you receive a call like this, hang up and call authorities immediately.

Or better yet...just don't answer your phone. Crooks ain't got no time to leave messages, or a trail of evidence.
