To me, some of the bravest men and women on the planet are firefighters. They have no reason to run into a house engulfed in flames besides saving lives. They are truly selfless. Early Sunday morning at around 12:30 am, Firefighters were called to a South Beloit home on South Bluff Road according to WIFR.com. Once the Firefighters arrived on scene, they saw smoke billowing out of the roof of the home.

Firefighters used thermal-imaging equipment to track down the source of the fire. The home is now considered uninhabitable do to the smoke and water damage. While one of the firefighters was in the house, the floor partially collapsed and he sustained a leg injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire has not been released at this time and is still under investigation. there have been so many fires in a short period of time around here. It has been pretty dry around here lately, I'm sure it has something to do with it.
