Shots Allegedly Fired at Pier 1 Imports in Rockford

When will this shooting madness stop in Rockford? Today, another shooting incident allegedly happened at a popular East State Street business.

On the heels of Saturday's incident at Dick's Sporting Goods, another alleged shooting near a popular Eastside shopping area was reported on Wednesday. This alleged shooting occurred at Pier 1 Imports at 6325 East State Street.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that two windows of the business were shot out. It is unknown if there were any injuries. In the video below you can see two windows shattered. There is no suspect information and no information from Rockford Police has been released.

The incident reportedly occurred before 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday's incident is very close in location to Saturday's incident of an officer involved shooting that occurred over the weekend.
