More severe weather rolled through northern Illinois on Monday night, with at least five tornadoes reported across the state.

The National Weather Service will be out today to document the damage and paths of the twisters. Here are the locations where officials think tornadoes touched down:

According to the AP, one person in Woodhaven Association, a private camping resort in Sublette, was hospitalized with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening. Four other "walking wounded" were either treated on scene or refused treatment.

Damage to a mall in the Sterling area is extensive, with a roof reported to have been torn off a Sporting Goods store there.  Patrons tweeted messages of being trapped in the bathrooms while heavy rains pelted the area after the severe storms passed.
