
Second Arrest Made in Illinois Bar Shooting That Left 4 People Shot
It's been less than two weeks since a dispute at a bar in Machesney Park, Illinois turned violent with four individuals suffering gunshot wounds.
Just a couple of days after the shooting, the Winnebago County Sheriff made the arrest of 31-year-old Jimmie Lee Rogers from Machesney Park and charged him with the following:
- Attempted Murder
- Aggravated Battery/Discharge of a Firearm
- Unlawful Use of Weapons by a Felon
- Felon in Possession of a Firearm
A second arrest in the shooting was made today (Tuesday 3/7) when the Winnebago County Sheriff placed 21-year-old Derek A. Graham from Rockford and charged him with the following:
- Aggravated Battery with a Firearm
- Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm
- Unlawful Use of Weapon by a Felon X 2
- Resisting Arrest to a Police Officer
- Felon in Possession of a Firearm
A warrant for armed robbery was also outstanding against Graham by the Illinois Department of Corrections.
An investigation by the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office will continue, and any new information about the incident will be updated here.
