If you haven't figured it out by now, Scooter's menu not only features coffee and blended coffee items, but also smoothies, teas, pastries, kids' items, breakfast sandwiches and more.

The second most important thing to know about Scooter's Coffee is that it's a drive-thru only joint, and the company is known for fast service and quality. In fact, a commitment to speedy service is what their name is all about. Scooter's website says;

The very first Scooter’s Coffee location was known as “Scooter’s Java Express.” We named it “Scooter’s” after reviewing a list of options including “Scooter.” The name fit well with our mission to keep customers happy by helping them “scoot in and scoot out” quickly.

New Scooter's Coffee in Rockford

Scooter's Coffee has 15 stores throughout Illinois, and Rockford's new store at 3515 E State Street (the former State Street Station location) marks the 16th in the state.

Scooter's is open daily now from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., but their grand opening celebration will take place on Friday, June 6, 2025, featuring buy one drink and get one free when you pay with the Scooter’s Coffee app.
