RVC’s Starlight Theatre Needs Help Getting New Sound System
To me, Rock Valley College's Starlight Theatre is one of Rockford's brightest gems. My summer is just not complete if it didn't involve taking in a show or two at Starlight, and while watching Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat there recently I found out something I think we all need to be aware of: Starlight Theatre needs a new sound system, and they are currently running a fundraiser to get the money for it.
As of less than two weeks ago, Starlight's fundraiser was still about $40,000 away from their goal, and I think we all need to pitch in some dollars to help them reach it. Starlight consistently provides us with a summer of enjoyment highlighting amazing talent in the Stateline, and I think donating money to help them enhance our experience is a great way to say "thank you" and "we appreciate everything you do".
