The Downfall of Spring in Illinois

Spring in Northern Illinois often feels like Mother Nature is spinning a giant Wheel of Fortune labeled “70 degrees,” “snow,” “tornado sirens,” and “why is it hailing???”

Experiencing several days of rain and clouds does bad things to my mood, but the mud that results from all the spring showers is what I absolutely hate.

Now, here comes the bad news. Better get ready now for the next round of mud and yard debris cleanup ahead.
