Rockford Walmart Had Two Armed Robberies In Only Two Hours
Well, obviously prices aren't falling fast enough at Walmart. According to MyStateLine.com, yesterday at the sales giant's Northridge store in Rockford around 1:45 am, a black male between 30 and 35 stole some store merchandise and was headed out the door. A Walmart employee said the man threatened them with a firearm and on his way out he punctured a tire on a security vehicle.
As if that wasn't bad enough, at 3:30 am, a 57-year-old man was in his vehicle in the parking lot and was approached by a man in a tan Chevrolet Suburban. The man was brandishing a gun and demanded something the victim had, but when he threatened to call the police the suspect fled the scene. The police department believes that these crimes are connected and are more than likely the same suspect.
