Rockford Police Link May Shooting Incident to Ongoing Investigation
A month-long investigation into a reported shooting on Rockford's southeast side has resulted in multiple arrests, the seizure of firearms-related items, and the recovery of narcotics, according to the Rockford Police Department.
Police said officers responded to the 1900 block of Ohio Parkway on May 14, 2026, at approximately 2:33 p.m. after receiving reports of an aggravated discharge incident. Investigators learned that victims reported being shot at by an individual who had exited in a nearby vehicle.
