
Two People Hospitalized After Shooting on Rockford’s West Side
Rockford Police are continuing to search for suspects in a shooting on the city's west side that left two people with serious injuries.
Shots Fired on West Side, Two Seriously Injured
According to a press release from RPD, officers responded to the 800 block of Ferguson Street around 12:15 pm on Thursday afternoon (11/6) after reports of gunfire.

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a 42-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man suffering from serious injuries that were apparently gunshot wounds.
Both of the victims were transported to local hospitals to be treated for their injuries, and at the time of this story, no information about their current conditions has been released.
Investigation Remains Active
According to the report from Rockford Police, an investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and no further details about potential suspects or motives have been provided at this time.
