Rockford Polish Deli Owner Caught Selling Weed
Year after year more states legalize Cannabis. Some states Like California and Michigan even have legal recreational Marijuana. Here in Illinois, we have medical Marijuana with changes on the horizon but they're not here yet. The Polish Deli owner in Rockford Definitely wishes it was legal now.
According to the City Of Rockford, the police department has been receiving complaints about drug sales at the Polish Deli on Charles street. Rockford detectives procured a search warrant and paid a visit to the Deli yesterday. As the officers entered the location, the owner, Arkadiusz Podczaski, tried to flee the scene but was taken into custody. The police found Marijuana and a scaled used for weighing Marijuana. Later, the City building inspector's and the health department condemned the Deli due to health and building code violations.
Arkadiusz is currently at the Winnebago County Jail, charged with possession with intent to deliver Cannabis. More charges are possible and Arkadiusz is innocent until proven guilty. Next year this could have been legal, but not yet.
