Rockford Police Rescued A Trapped Kitten This Morning

Earlier this week the Belvidere Fire Department rescued some baby ducklings from a storm drain. It was a great story, especially when we learned the ducklings were reunited with their mother. Another great rescue story came out of Rockford yesterday. Rockford Housing Authority officers rescued a little kitten that was trapped inside of another storm drain.

In the Pics on Rockford Police Department's Facebook post you can just see the little kitten peering out behind the bars on the storm drain cover. It great that they were there at  just the right time This is just awesome!  I'm sure that little kitten will find a good home now as well. Way to go Rockford PD!
