I was leaving Hobby Lobby yesterday when I noticed a big sign posted outside the old Perkins Restaurant on East State Street. I was sitting at the light waiting to turn left when I spotted it, but I couldn't read what it said until I drove past it...

Stoming Crab? What exactly is this?

One quick Facebook search revealed that it's a seafood restaurant that has several locations across the United States, and that they specialize in cajun boiled seafood.

Y'all drooling yet? Just peruse Storming Crab's menu that features a plethora of shrimp, crab legs, lobster and many more items picked straight out of every seafood lover's dreams.

The one thing that I couldn't find in my Storming Crab stalking session was when the new Rockford restaurant will be opening. I guess will just have to drive by the sign daily until more information is revealed.
