Rockford Named Illinois’ Best Destination For A ‘Spring Weekend Trip’

The Active Times put together a list of Weekend Trips to Take This Spring In Every State, and included a weekend stay in Rockford as THE place to visit in Illinois.

Springtime offers a variety of recreational opportunities from kayaking to stand-up paddleboarding, wakeboarding, canoeing, biking, swimming and more.

The Active Times also says:

Visit one of Rockford’s newest attractions, West Rock Wake Park; take the kids to the Discovery Center Children’s Museum; and indulge in the beauty of the Anderson Japanese Gardens.
