Rockford Man Arrested After Making Threats On School Bus

According to mystateline.com, a Rockford man named Oscar Moreno 37, was arrested on Friday after he threatened a teen on a school bus with a BB gun. A little after 5 pm, officers were called around to the intersection of Auburn and North Church street. The call they received stated that 2 girls were fighting on a school bus. officer's said that a male suspect stepped onto the bus and threatened one of the girls with a gun.

Afterwards the suspect fled the school bus and went to a nearby apartment. Police later found Moreno and the firearm turned out to be a BB gun. That wasn't the only reason police were looking for Moreno, he was also wanted for aggravated assault, domestic battery, resisting an officer as well as two counts of disorderly conduct.
