A Day to Celebrate Rockford's Spirit

Known officially as Rockford Day, the August 15 celebration has had tremendous growth since its debut in 2016. See where that 815 comes from on 8/15?

Created by Rockford Community Partners, the City of Rockford, and Go Rockford, the event now reaches across neighborhoods and businesses all around the 815 area code.

On 815 Day, you'll see a community come together and celebrate, with businesses offering limited-time deals to creative events that shine a spotlight on local talent and generosity.

Businesses are encouraged to take part during Rockford Day by offering $8.15 specials, hosting a live street party, and organizing neighborhood cleanups.
