Rockford Area Christmas Tree Recycling Drop Off Locations
The one holiday tradition that I dread every year is saying goodbye to our beautiful Christmas tree. Seeing a bare tree laying on the side of a road for weeks on end is one of the saddest sights after Christmas, so please don't do that. Take the few extra minutes to load it onto your car and drop it off at one of Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful's free Christmas tree recycling locations in the Stateline. This way it can continue to beautify someone's home in a different way...as mulch!
Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful will be accepting live Christmas trees, (that have had all lights, decorations and tree stands removed), January 1 - 15, 2020 at these locations in the Rockford area:
Sandy Hollow Golf Course—
2670 Sandy Hollow Road, West Lot
